Choreographer for this Class: Sean Howe Sean Howe is in his second year at the Juilliard School in NYC, under the direction of Lawrence Rhodes. Inspired by his grandpa, Gordie Howe (Mr. Hockey), Sean is always motivated by his family to follow his passions. He is a modern dance alumni of the National YoungArts Foundation, which named him a 2013 U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts and gave him the opportunity to perform at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Sean has performed the works of Ohad Naharin, Martha Graham, Jose Limon, and Loni Landon. Through assisting workshop conventions across the U.S., Sean developed a love for working with students. He began teaching at his home of Ohio, focusing on expanding the minds of dancers and his own choreographic endeavors. His choreography has been showcased in his schools’ main-stage performances, and he continues to explore choreography and teaching as significant areas of study. Sean will be spending this summer in Montreal and Tel Aviv to further his dance training. More Info below.
