Ronald West is graduate of the NCSU and received a Bachelor’s in Environmental Design in Architecture. Ronald trained under Kirstie Spadie. He studied and danced at the Dance Exchange in Washington D.C., has studied at ‘The PULSE’, and various workshops across NC. Professional credits include: Diego Carrasco Schoch, Kate Davis, Courtney Greer, the Continuum Collective, Dance Exchange and Black Box Dance. West founded the BLACK IRISH contemporary hip hop company which is focused on the generation of strong and creative movement, with the simultaneous intent of bringing communities together through the love of dance, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation or religion. This class aims to make dancers aware of their bodies by focusing on weight shifting, dancer synchronization and beat recognition within the most current music styles.
