Circle Modern Dance proudly presents the 24th annual production of Modern Dance Primitive Light, December 17 at 8pm December 18 at 7:00 and 9:00pm December 19 at 7:00 and 9:00pm, 2015. [hidden] Modern Dance Primitive Light (MDPL), conveys the warm inviting spirit of the holidays with respect to the diversity of our audience. Circle Modern Dance, voted Metro Pulse’s Best of Knoxville Dance Company, celebrates movement and creativity year after year, inviting audiences to connect with dancers, performance artists, and live musicians while being immersed in the warm ambiance of the Laurel Theater. This performance is appropriate for all ages. Audience members are encouraged to bring pillows as seating is limited. Modern Dance Primitive Light 2015 is made possible with grants and support of the Tennessee Arts Commission and the Arts & Culture Alliance. This performance helps further the mission of Circle Modern Dance to provide opportunities to area dancers, musicians, and performance artists to showcase their work.
