Her dance education started at the early age of two, and has been growing ever since! Rosanna’s versatile dance training has taken her all over New England. She has studied in all varieties of dance, but finds her identity in the styles of contemporary and hip-hop. A large amount of Rosanna's training comes from her local dance studio in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, Rhythm N Sync Dance Studio. Here, she competed in regional and national dance competitions across New England from Connecticut to New York and New Jersey. Following her competition days, Rosanna was accepted into the dance program at Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts prior to her freshman year of high school. The Academy opened her eyes to a whole new world of dance and her true passion for the art form was discovered. She is honored to have worked with artists, companies and choreographers like Kim Stroud, an original member of the Martha Graham Dance Company; Jennifer Weber, DECAdance; Kate St. Amand and Lynn Peterson, SYREN modern dance; Caroline Fermin, Galim Dance; Clyde Evans, Leslie Frye Maietta, Deborah Goffe and many more. During high school, her summers were spent at Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts where she worked with more artists like Fredrick Earl Mosley, Nathan Trice, Kevin Wynn and Crysal Frazier and Rennie Harris of Rennie Harris Pure Movement, just to name a few. Rosanna graduated from the academy at the top of her class, being elected class speaker by her classmates. She continues to let dance lead her life and is apart of many companies and organizations in the Hartford area. She is signed to DFX Entertainment and performs at the Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casinos along with many other major performance venues. She is also a founding member and collaborator of an up and coming company, TNMOT AZTRO. In its premier year the company earned performances at many major Connecticut based dance events such as the 5x5 Dance Festival at St. Josephs University in Hartford, Connecticut and an evening length performance at Real Art Ways. Rosanna also recently gained positions on the dance teams supporting the New England Black Wolves and the Connecticut Sun WNBA team. In addition, she is the lead choreographer and puppeteer for Nightfall, an annual performance in Hartford. She is also the Creative Director of Hartford’s first and only beauty collective, Tainted Inc. As an artist, Rosanna focuses locally. She believes dance is an art form that encompasses all things, it is not just simply moving. She strongly believes in the beauty of collaborating and implicates these ideas into her classes and her own artistic endeavors. More Info below.
