Ballet Magnificat!’s newest ballet, inspired by C.S. Lewis’ well-known novel “Screwtape Letters”, depicts the spiritual battle from the villain’s perspective. “My hope is for this ballet to give people a glimpse of the unseen reality and strategy that humans encounter in our daily lives while on this earth.” said Tara Thibodeaux Drew, Choreographer of Stratagem. Wildwood Ballet Company will also be presenting a new chapter of their original story ballet – The Journey. This concert will benefit Wildwood Ballet’s “A Time To Dance” community outreach initiatives – Project Plie, which offers weekly ballet classes to young people in the Boys and Girls Clubs, and The Hidden Art Project, which offers creative movement and reflective art to homeless women. Ballet Magnificat! began touring its new work in the spring of 2015, and it has been performed both nationally and internationally. Ballet Magnificat!, since its founding, has toured to 45 of the 50 States, as well as Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Central and South America. More Info below.
