WHAT IS ARGENTINE TANGO? Argentine Tango is very different than ballroom tango in its embrace, improvisation and music. Tango is like a good conversation between partners who are enjoying the excitement of spontaneity on the dance floor. With more than 150 years of history, Argentine tango is almost exclusively a social dance that constantly evolves into new forms and styles. By this richness, Argentine tango continues to fascinate people of all ages from all around the world. Tango Level 1 for complete beginners Tuesdays at 7 pm Complete beginners are welcome to join in! No dance experienced required! We will be working on tango fundamentals and basics of embrace, connection and musicality. 2. Tango Level 2 for students with previous experience Tuesdays at 8pm If you have previous completed Tango 1 - this is your class! SESSION INCLUDES: The program consists of: - 12 consecutive classes covering Tango 1 fundamentals - Weekly free practice sessions on Tuesdays at 6pm - Free monthly guided practica on Fridays with TAs and Instructors (for all students with 12wk pass) COST: $120 for 12 week session (includes weekly practices at 6pm) or $15/class. + Tango Level 2 students (with 12wk session pass) can come to Tango 1 level at no additional charge!
