Experience fundamental principles of the Martha Graham technique including contraction/release, spiral of the body, and shift of weight. Experiment moving from the center of the body. Oppositional forces of energy provide endless potential for dynamic movement. This class will include floor work, standing work, and traveling work. Jesse Factor Jesse Factor received a scholarship to the Martha Graham School, and danced with the Martha Graham Dance Company and Graham II in the iconic Graham repertory, as well as work by Robert Battle, Stuart Hodes, Larry Keigwin, and Bulareyaung Pagarlava. Jesse has also toured internationally with Cats, and in Europe with Cabaret. A certified teacher of the Graham technique, he has served on the faculty of the Martha Graham School for several years. He has also served as Artist-in-Residence at the Marymount School of New York, taught guest classes at Peridance Capezio Center, Point Park University, University of Buffalo, Dance Exchange, and worked as a teaching artist for the International Schools Theatre Association (ISTA) in Hong Kong, Istanbul, London, Moscow, Shanghai.
