J & J Hip Hop Dance-A-Thon

WHO WE ARE… We are J & J Hip Hop Dance Company, LLC, a Hip Hop Dance Company that offers positive hip hop dance instruction along with character building and inspiration. Many of our students come from underprivileged families, broken homes, and even some who are overcoming difficult challenges in their life. We offer affordable rates and even affordable dance programs to allow any and all students the opportunity to experience the quality of a top performance dance company with competitive dance training. Moreover, we integrate encouragement, inspiration, and team work into our classes to help build inspirational students. The impact of our company goes beyond the student and into the dancer’s family. We pride ourselves on the extra care and compassion we integrate into our training and know that many lives are being touched for the better. Overall we are focused on impacting people’s lives in addition to building legendary dancers. We are writing you today to share that, after 2 1/2 years of pressing, enduring, faith, and hard work with our Dance Company, we now have the privilege to have our very own dance studio for our students! But we need your help. This facility is in need of some renovations to make it work efficiently for us, but is a major blessing! We will be taking this building over from another local Colorado Springs Dance Company. We are humbled by this opportunity to have our own dance studio and community outreach headquarters. We have signed our lease to the building and are NOW MORE THAN EVER IN NEED OF SUPPORT! OUR NEEDS… In order to be able to open up the studio, we needed to have some renovations done first. We have had the plans drawn up, and have hired a local Colorado Springs Construction Company to handle the project for us. They have been more than gracious in cost and we know we will have no problem achieving our goal to raise $15K to renovate, furnish, and set up the Studio & Outreach Center the way we need it by the 3rd week of June. We must open our doors by June 27th, 2016 to continue running our classes efficiently without any break in schedule. We are wondering if you will consider financially supporting the overall cause and project? J & J Hip Hop started just 2 ½ years ago and is now scaling 200 students today. Our growth has been tremendous, and we attribute much of it to the quality of care we put into our students and their families. Many of our students and their families have had major positive life changes, found hope, and have fresh new thoughts, and outlook about life. We can do so much more with our new facility to keep directing these types of changes in many more students and families in Colorado Springs. We are asking for any pledge, donation, or financial gift you can spare to support the project and our cause! We are currently taking pledges for our upcoming Dance-A-Thon being held on Saturday, May 28th, 2016 at the Hillside Community Center from 5:30pm – 7:30pm. Our students are doing their absolute best to collect these pledges to help raise funds for their studio. We want to reward our dancers for their efforts any way we can. On such a small budget, and in the middle of trying to raise funds for our renovations, purchasing gifts or rewards is not a possibility. We are also asking for any businesses that can offer passes, gifts, or gift cards, etc.. if you would be able to help us with any family packs to give away to our students as rewards. Anything that can be offered would be tremendous and would allow many of our kiddos to experience the joys of a great reward for their hard work. The Restoration Explosion Ministries, Inc supports our causes and will be supporting our renovation project in any way possible. They will apply any donations noted “J & J Hip Hop Facility” back to the facility renovations and cause.
