Beginner Salsa With Rueda De Casino :: Six Week Series

REGISTER Online: palanteithaca.org. Learn Salsa at Ithaca Ballet. SALSA CASINO Casino is Cuban-style Salsa. It can be danced as a couple or in a group. Rueda de Casino is Salsa danced by multiple couples to the arrangement of a caller, or “cantante.” In this series, Rueda is an instructional tool to expedite Salsa learning in any format. Focus is on individual and couple dancing. Participants acquire skills in timing, body movement, lead-follow technique, footwork, turns and combinations. SERIES Six Week Series: Sunday July 10 - August 14 5:30-7pm Beginner Salsa with Rueda 4-5:30pm Intermediate Salsa and Rueda 7-8:30pm Advanced Salsa, Rueda and Choreography Music provided, video recording available, dance performance opportunity. No partner necessary, drop-in welcome, couples need not rotate (except in rueda), gender free. Cost per series: $72, $62 students. Couple and continuing student discount. Drop-in $15, $13 students.
