FLAMENCO FUSION BODY DYNAMICS

This comprehensive workshop contrasts traditional and contemporary flamenco técnica de cuerpo (torso, hip, arm and hand technique) with that used in belly dance, and shows dancers how to combine them using a "music first" approach to make their fusion more authentic. Class includes a handout outlining technique and movements learned in class.
FLAMENCO FUSION SKIRT COMBINATIONS
2-4pm
Elena Villa shares her decades-long practice of Flamenco, Belly Dance, and Arab-flamenco fusion dance in an exciting workshop that explores creative movement combinations for la falda flamenca (flamenco skirt technique). For belly dancers of all styles! Please wear a long, full skirt. Class includes a handout outlining technique and movements learned in class.
