This year's Fall Hafla shall be in the North Brevard County area. We will be taking over the Cocoa YMCA with fun costumes, music and various props of swords, zills and silk veils. What is wonderful about the American Belly Dance Club is how all of the ladies and gents who have the passion for belly dance of the different elements, come together with support and grace for each other as well as their dance. This idea has grown into The American Belly Dance Club, now in its 12th year. The club is a nonprofit organization open to all persons interested in Middle Eastern, Fusion, and Tribal Style Belly Dance. The club promotes fellowship among dancers in our area as well as surrounding areas through monthly activities. The Club sponsors classes, workshops and lectures to introduce and explore different styles of belly dance and the culture behind this dance. Monthly newsletters are sent out to all members outlining activities for the coming months and dance events going on in other counties. The club also sponsors shows such as this, to provide performance opportunities for members. In addition, the club donates a portion of the proceeds from each show to local charities. Please go to [hidden] to see what workshops we have coming up! More Info below.
