He is the only flamenco artist to win five Latin Grammy Awards throughout his career. A celebrated gypsy flamenco guitarist, Tomatito´s music is a thrilling blend of traditional flamenco and jazz. He has released six solo albums, worked with such greats as Paco de Lucía and legendary flamenco singer Camarón de la Isla, and shared the stage with Elton John, Chick Corea and Frank Sinatra. A charismatic personality, along with an unrelenting commitment to the continuity of flamenco's development, have brought him worldwide recognition not only in the field of music, but also in film, theatre and art. He has collaborated with a multitude of performers from all over the globe and has encouraged and influenced a whole generation of young and upcoming artists.
