Paradise Tango is proud to present European Salon Tango Champions Liz & Yannick Vanhove!! They are internationally acclaimed dancers, performers, choreographers, & highly distinguished instructors! They were the European Salon Tango Champions and Stage Tango Vice-Champions in 2012 and represented all of Europe at the Final of the World Tango Championship in Buenos Aires. They are knowledgeable, exciting, fun and friendly teachers. Are you at the beginning of your Argentine Tango journey? Have you been dancing Argentine Tango for a while but want to refine and polish your technique and skills? This special event is for all of you! Everyone can benefit! This SPECIAL two-day 8-hour Tango Intensive is intended to jump start new dancer’s into the world of Argentine Tango and reinvigorate and improve the technique and fundamental skills of advanced beginning and intermediate dancers alike! Liz and Yannick will take the enrolled students through a journey that will include fundamental tango skills, technique, connection, embrace, musicality, style and more! Liz and Yannick Vanhove (from Belgium), are partners in life and partners in tango. They have been dancing Argentine Tango for over 11 years. In 2006 they went to Buenos Aires for the first time and have lived there for over two years spread over the last 7 years. They go back to Buenos Aires every year for several months to maintain and improve their dancing & teaching skills. In Europe, they are part of 'Tres Esquinas', an international company of Tango de Salon, and of the Show Tango company “LM Tango Argentino” that has its base in Paris. And they were nominated and accepted as Members of Unesco's International Dance Council CID. They routinely participate in workshop and performance throughout Europe and the Unites States. In 2012 they won the European championship in the category Tango Salon and became vice-champions of Tango Escenario.
