Modern Dance Primitive Light

Circle Modern Dance is proud to present the 25th annual Primitive Light. Please join us for one of our 5 performances. Thursday, December 15, 8:00pm and Friday and Saturday at 7:00 & 9:00pm. Modern Dance Primitive Light (MDPL), conveys the warm inviting spirit of the holidays with respect to the diversity of our audience. Circle Modern Dance, voted Knoxville Mercury, Best of Knoxville Dance Company, celebrates movement and creativity year after year, inviting audiences to connect with dancers, performance artists, and live musicians while being immersed in the warm ambiance of the Laurel Theater. This performance is appropriate for all ages. Audience members are encouraged to bring pillows as seating is limited. Modern Dance Primitive Light 2016 is made possible with grants and support of the Tennessee Arts Commission and the Arts & Culture Alliance. This performance helps further the mission of Circle Modern Dance to provide opportunities to area dancers, musicians, and performance artists to showcase their work.
