Join Paula and Lukas this Sunday, Feb. 26th from 3 pm - 5 pm and expand your West Coast Swing vocabulary and dance "listening" skills! To register, visit: [hidden] Argentine Tango is arguably one of the most subtle and intricate of the partner dance forms to learn. Ask any Tango enthusiast - Tangueros and Tangueras never stop practicing! Social Argentine Tango requires balance, musicality, weight sharing, and the ability to "hear" your partner in a more immediate way than any other social dance form. All of this is INCREDIBLY useful if you are a West Coast Swing dancer. Rather than just borrowing a few steps or "Swango-ing", this workshop will go deeper. We'll explore the basics of the embrace, weight sharing, balance, walking, and how to "hear" the lead in your center. It's darn good stuff and is totally applicable to West Coast Swing. We'll also explore how to use close embrace mechanics when dancing in closed position in West Coast Swing - opening a ton of new avenues of lead-able, comfy vocabulary. Come dance with us! PRICE IN ADVANCE - $40. SAME-DAY PRICE ONLINE - $50. PRICE AT THE DOOR – $50 cash only. (Exact change, please. Thanks!) Visit: [hidden] to register.
