Description World renown maestros Gabriel Missé and Carla Espinoza will teach 9 hour Seminar of SALON TANGO. Their seminars are progressive and it starts with the most important elements of Tango dancing which is foundation. Maestros Missé and Espinoza will teach the secrets of Tango dancing from famous milongueros from the Golden Era of Tango such as Todaro, Perita, Toto, Petaca, Pepito Avellaneda, El Turco José, Petaca and more. This seminar is constructed to help dancers of all levels and experience become the best tango dancers they can be in Salon Tango. The seminars will include • lectures in tango history, culture and anecdotes of their experiences in tango • codes of tango • history of tango orchestras and musical interpretation • improve technique—Example: OCHOS, MOLINETES, LAPIZ, etc. Simple but they will make sure they are perfect • build sequences -- with steps and music and each student will have to perform • They will choose a Maestro and learn a sequence that is usefully in a Milonga (Social dance) CHERRY ON TOP • Gabriel and Carla will demonstrate and practice with each student individually • Depending on the group, they will take recommendations and be flexible on what they will teach SEMINARS SCHEDULES: We highly recommend you start with seminar #1 if you have never taken their seminar before. Mr. Misse started to dance Tango from the age of six, with Masters such as Antonio Todaro and Pepito Avellaneda and performed with leading artists and musicians like Julian Plaza, Colangelo, Oscar Basil, Alberto Castillo, Roberto Goyeneche, Mariano Mores and Armando Manzanero. He has appeared in tango documentaries for National Geographic and on Japanese television. For many years, Missé was part of the Miguel Angel Zotto’s company Tango x 2, the world tour of Una Noche de Tango and has choreographed several touring tango shows. An accredited judge for the Buenos Aires Metropolitan and World Tango Championships, Missé has taught and danced in festivals in Europe, Asia, Australia, and North & South America. Carla Espinoza Bio: Carla taught ballet and contemporary dance at the Escuela Nacional de Danza, Argentina from 2002-2009 and is also a PE teacher since 2003. Her love for dancing lead her into the tango world, and she has learned with Carlitos Perez, Gabriel Missé, Horacio Godoy, and Luís Solana. Carla danced in numerous tango shows such as: "Hernán Piquín es Pasional," "Tango Porteño," "Casa de Tango," Esquina Carlos Gardel." She worked with Nacha Guevara y Amelia Baltar in "Glorias Argentinas," "Corporación Tangos," "El Querandí," "Obsesión Tango," and "Sensaciones de Tango."
