Gaby Mataloni, an outstanding professional Argentine Tango instructor and performer, will be doing a summer residency in Pittsburgh, teaching regular weekly classes+practica EVERY WEDNESDAYS from 7:30pm to 9:30pm, from JUNE 7 to AUGUST 16, 2017 at the Wilkins School Community Center. This is a unique opportunity for local and surrounding tango community members to learn this exquisite dance on a regular basis from a Tango professional. After earning a degree in pharmacy from the University of Buenos Aires, Gaby decided that her true professional path was definitively bound together with dancing and so she became fully dedicated and committed to teaching and dancing tango. Since then, she has been giving regular lessons at different milongas in Buenos Aires, such as the well-known Viva la Pepa Milonga, La Mandrilera Milonga and La María Milonga, of which she has also been co-creator and organizer. Gaby also travels to teach and perform worldwide. She is a featured artist in many Tango festivals in 2017, including Saltlake Tango Fest and Natural Tango Fest in the US. More Info below.
