PANELIST BIOS Pablo Estigarribia is a virtuoso Argentine tango pianist, arranger and composer. He is originally a classically trained pianist who also plays Jazz. Throughout his career, he has been performed over 150 concerts around the world such as Germany, France, Belgium, Japan, Russia, Finland, Canada, USA and Cuba with top Argentine tango orchestras including Victor Lavallen Orchestra, Tango Pasión, Lisandro Adrover Quintet and his own group Meridional Sextet. In 2015, Estigarribia also won the prestigious Gardel Prize for the best recording of tango by a new artist for his recent release, Tangos para piano (EPSA). He is considered among the best tango musicians of his generation and received a Medal of honor by Argentine tango society 2015. He is also a frequent artist faculty for tango festivals around the world and tries to carry a tradition of tango music to next generation of musicians by giving master classes, workshops and lectures."
