The Breaking Program /Dance & All That Jazz bring you the second installment of our Summer Hip Hop Camp, starting July 24th through August 3rd. Monday-Thursday (5-7pm). With four diffrent instructors, each with thier own uniuque talents. Each day for the two weeks instructors will be teaching new techniques by breaking down the movements, running drills with the entire class, and then finally applying the movements into combinations and having freindly competetions. Get to know who the instructors are. JFUNKY- World Class Bboy Jonathan Mayuga aka JFunky now resides in Las Vegas, NV since 2015. He is apart of Chicago's very own Crooks Crew, and recently joined Sin City's notorious Knucklehead Zoo. JFunky has studied under the art of Breakdancing for 10+ years since he was only 5 years old. His skill has brought him great opportunities to dance around the globe. Past experience includes the NBA Chicago Breakabulls 2015, RedBull BC One Midwest qualifier 2012-2015, BattleMania Taiwan, International Skillz Philippines 1vs1 Champion 2016, and more. TWIGG- Ryley Mikos is a Bboy from the Chicagoland area. Ryley, more popularly known as “Twigg Fresh”, began his dance career by competing at local BBoy dance competitions. In 2010 he quickly established himself as one of the area’s top young dancers. By 2012 Ryley began traveling across the country to compete against some of the country’s best talent. Ryley became an International bboy in 2014 when he was flown out to Mexico to represent the United States at this international competition known as “El Pastel”. As his career began to take off, so did his multitude of talents. Ryley began to teach bboying to the youth. He also started working for various entertainment companies as both a dancer and a host. Ryley’s talents also have given him the honor and privilege to perform for countless shows, both public and private. In 2016, Ryley was a member of the Chicago Bulls Breakdancing troupe known as the “Chicago Breakabulls”. Currently Ryley is teaching and is expanding his training regimen. He has been the subject of videos and photo-shoots for up and coming Videographers. BLAK ATAK- CJ Williams was born and raised in Chicago. CJ, as a young boy, was a natural athlete that excelled at gymnastics. His love for HIP HOP music and culture lead him to transcend gymnastics and transform into a Bboy. As a Bboy, Cj traveled the country winning countless competitions. He has been consistently recognized as one of Chicago’s Top 10 Bboys for over 10 years. In 2015 he was also selected to lead the Chicago Bulls breakdance troupe known as the “Breakabulls”. You may call him CJ, but in the world of Bboying, he is simply known as “BLAKATAK”. CJ was one of the founders of the Chicago-based organization titled “Connect Force”. Connect Force is a Hip Hop based program that teaches youth about the Hip Hop Arts. Cj is a distinguished teacher of the 5 elements of Hip Hop. Through his program, Cj has taught a multitude of children about the history of Hip Hop, how to DJ, how to EMCEE, how to graffiti, and how to become a bboy. Through his teaching and his knowledge, CJ has become a hero. He is still competing at the highest level. Currently he is Finishing up his Bachelor’s Degree. QI QI- Qi is a hip hop dancer from China. She has been training under KOD world locking winners Locking Jay and Ducky in China. Ever since she moved in the States in 2013, she has been part of various dance crews including CODA, Movement Revolution, and later on founded her own all female diversity crew called The X. She has performed and choreographed for big hip hop events such as World Of Dance, Prelude, Corona Chicago New Year Eve’s Ball, Carnival Choreographer Balls and etc. She has been specialized in locking style for 5 years and has been teaching locking workshops for different organizations.
