"ATUSA", the ARGENTINE TANGO USA OFFICIAL CHAMPIONSHIP & TANGO FESTIVAL is the sanctioned OFFICIAL BRANCH in THE UNITED STATES to Tango Buenos Aires Festival and Dance World Cup*. It is is a unique four-day Official Tango event including both the only OFFICIAL ARGENTINE TANGO CHAMPIONSHIP in the USA and an international TANGO FESTIVAL. ATUSA OFFICIAL CHAMPIONSHIP is the direct and only validated pathway to have a significant opportunity at the Tango Mundial as it the only entity entitled to hand in official tango champion titles and to send the official US representatives (champions) to compete DIRECTLY AT THE SEMIFINAL rounds of the TANGO DANCE WORLD CUP in Buenos Aires every year, - avoiding more than 600 couples at the qualifying rounds.
