The Aesthetics Of Movement: An Intro To Modern Dance With Venese

Are you ready to activate your body through movement? This workshop will be an introduction to movement as an art form, going over the aesthetics of modern dance movement including patterns through space, the kinesthetic sphere, polyrhythms, tempo/speed and levels in space. Over the course of 2 hours, students will learn, practice and expand upon different activities related to the above topics, coming away with a better understanding of, appreciation for, and artistry within modern dance.
