Hatha Flow Yoga Saturdays 9:30-10:45am, beginning January 20 @ PATS, 2030 Frankford Ave $10-$15 sliding scale Hatha Flow is a moderately-paced, breath-centered yoga practice suitable for students of all levels. Class is built upon basic principles of Tantra and Ayurveda, and incorporates postures, bandhas (locks), breathwork, visualization, mantra, and meditation. Students can expect to build strength and flexibility, explore techniques for harnessing energy, and move towards self-discovery and mindfulness. Carolyn Merritt began practicing yoga in 2002 and she completed a 200-hour CYT training with Amrita Yoga & Wellness in 2017. Carolyn holds a Ph.D. in anthropology, and she has a background in ballet, modern dance, and Argentine tango.
