BoléRo Meets The Tango

Peruvian maestro Miguel Harth-Bedoya returns to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for a sensuous and spirited show of Latin music, including a concerto by tango master Astor Piazzolla, and a brand new symphonic suite from Jimmy López's "exquisite" (The Economist) opera Bel Canto, based on the Ann Patchett novel as seen on PBS. The ASO's own Alcides Rodriguez will truly astound you with his virtuosity as he performs the rarely-heard Lorenz “Concerto for Maracas.” Ravel's mesmerizing Spanish ballet Boléro ends the evening - "olé!"
