This eight-week group belly dance course will explore the basics of belly dancing, allowing students to develop muscle awareness and the mind-body connection needed to learn the ancient art form. Basic movements, proper posture, arm positions, hip motions, and footwork will be covered. Once students begin to master the skills, choreographed belly dances will be practiced.
