Learn the smooth dancing style of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers! The elegant, smooth, and romantic Foxtrot was the most popular dance in the 20's and 30's, and is still a favorite of many ballroom dancers today (including Eddie!) It's one of the best dances to improve your leading and following, and usually danced to jazz and big-band music sung by the likes of Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick Jr, and many more! It's also easily converted to give your slow dancing more variety! In these hour progressive classes you'll get familiar with the timing, dance position, and some of our favorite steps! The skill level will increase each week throughout the month, so please try to attend all classes in the series! Only $10 each for members ($15 non-members) and no partner or experience is needed! Beginners are encouraged to attend, as we’ll be exploring this dance from the very beginning! This dance doesn't come around often, so don't miss it! More Info below.
