Hip-hop Class with Mini Zhan. Born and raised in China, Mini Zhang discovered Hip-Hop when she was in high school. Before she knew it, dance became one of her biggest passions in life and she decided to come to the birth place of Hip-Hop to study street dance. Since then she has trained extensively in various street/club styles, with the focus on house and hip-hop, under some of the originators of these styles from Dance Fusion and Elite Force Crew. Meanwhile Mini got into the commercial dance world where she trained in choreography execution and performance mainly under Luam and RK Davis along with many other amazing teachers. She expanded her training into Contemporary, Ballet and Heels, and started choreographing to explore her own voice in dance. As a teacher, Mini aims at bringing the elements and essence of the true street styles into her teaching, focusing on physical techniques used in street styles as well as skills to execute choreography.
