Pro Ballet @ Dovetail Studio
He later starred as Bernardo in a Broadway revival of West Side Story (2020), though his casting drew protests; the musicals run was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021 Amasar announced that he would be retiring the following year. In May 2022 he gave his final performance with NYCB, appearing in Balanchines A Midsummer Nights Dream. More Info below.
