Join us for an unforgettable tango experience in the heart of Budapest! Whether youre an avid dancer or new to tango, this event promises to be a thrilling blend of dance, music, and city exploration. Event Schedule: Friday: 18:00: Arrival and check-in 19:00-22:00: Welcome Milonga 22:00-: Afterparty in the city Saturday: 12:00: City sightseeing scavenger hunt with 4-5 stops, a tanda at each location. The group moves together, completing fun tasks and earning rewards. 16:00: Free time to explore Budapest or relax. 19:00: Practica session to refine your moves. 21:00-01:00: Milonga la Mirada by HV, featuring live music 1:00-: Afterparty in the city Sunday: 13:00-17:30: Workshops with Andrs Balogh Helna, Gyuri Kata, and a special Polish couple. 17:00-19:00: Free time for personal activities. 19:00-22:00: Milonga 22:00-: Afterparty in the city Monday: Till 11:00 Vacating the studio Prices: We aim to make this event accessible to everyone. Understanding that not everyone can afford the full price, weve arranged a community-funded system. Tickets are either full price or discounted. Dancing hall: From Friday evening to Monday morning we will have a dance venue consisting of 2 rooms, and a hall for exclusive use. We may use these premises at any time for dancing and integration (except for the duration of curfew). In the same premises we provide free accommodation with a limited number of places. Accommodation Details: At the yoga studio, we provide separated rooms, yoga mats, male and female bathrooms and showers, a fridge, and a great atmosphere in the heart of the city. You must bring the sleeping bag yourself with you. Its not a five-star experience, but youll have a wonderful time with amazing people. A welcoming city: Budapest is the beautiful capital of Hungary. You will have opportunities to sightsee, experience wonderful local tango life and meet new people from different countries. The exciting experience is not only to visit the most beautiful place of Budapest, but to dance in these places during the day or night. One of the most unique dance venues is certainly the castle on castle hill, where the extra flavor for the danced tandas is given by the beautiful panoramic view of the city. Transportation to Hungary: From Poland it will be possible to join an organized group (the price of transportation for one person there and back is more or less 300 PLN). Public transportation in Budapest: For reasons of flexibility, we recommend different solution: -EU students can purchase a monthly ticket for the entire province for 2.5 -a group of five can buy a 24-hour ticket for 2.5/person -one adult can buy a 72-hour ticket for 14 What do you win by booking seats in advance? - Free seats for the tango weekend and for free lodging are limited. You will secure a place that could potentially run out. - Our initiative is non-profit. We want to give everyone the opportunity to experience tango Budapest in pleasant company, regardless of financial situation. Because of this, tickets cost as cheap as possible.
