Encuentro Milonguero Rosas De OtoÑO 2024

Dear Milongueras/Milongueros, friends from near and far, it is our pleasure to warmly welcome you in this group, where we will keep you updated about the Encuentro Milonguero ROSAS DE OTOO in Zagreb-Croatia. We expect 160 persons maximum to keep it intimate and intense. Participants, with equal number of leaders and followers, men and women, are invited to dance with us in the beautiful dance hall at a unique location of old town in the center of Zagreb. We expect from all participants that they know and respect the good tango practice (cdigos), like dancing in the ronda and the lane, respecting the space of other dancers, inviting by mirada and cabeceo, entering on to the dance floor in a correct way, social and friendly on and off the dance floor, changing of partners after each tanda, and leaving the dance floor during the cortina. Priority will be given to registrations in couple, especially men and women, regardless of who of them is the leader and who is the follower, which does not mean that we will not accept a certain number of solo applications, but if you register as a solo female follower, the possibility of your registering, due to a large number of such applications is very limited. Please note, this event is not suitable for tango beginners. These are traditional milongas and no place for people who want to show off their newest voleos and ganchos. Please, stay away if you don't like dancing in a close embrace and "old" tango music ;-) And just to remind you, this encuentro is always held during the magical Advent fair in Zagreb, which has been named the best such fair in Europe for years.
