Carnaval De Mi Barrio - Tango Marathon KöLn 2025

Welcome to the group of our tango marathon "Carnaval de mi barrio" in Cologne. In recent years we have attended many international tango events in beautiful locations and met wonderful tangueras and tangueros. We now feel the need to give something back and welcome you to our hometown of Cologne. We are looking forward to dancing and enjoying the summer with you from July 25th to 27th, 2025 in Cologne-Nippes. Nippes is one of the barrios of Cologne where the Altenberger Hof is located. There you will find a 400 m2 dance hall with parquet flooring, professional music system as well as a bar, an inner courtyard with a caf and an extensive park with a lawn. What you can expect: - A cosy and friendly event with 190 tango lovers - A role-balanced group of participants - Invitation by mirada/cabeceo and other milonga codes - A ballroom with a wooden floor in the "Scheune" (barn) - 5 great international as well as local TDJs - Yoga sessions in the park - A folklore workshop on Saturday - Dinner on Friday and Saturday - Brunch on Saturday and Sunday - Refreshments during the milongas - A bar with drinks for purchase: Klsch (our local beer), wine and whatever else there might be found on the shelf More info to come.
