Twilight Tango With Corina Piatti At Tango Spa

From 3.30 pm to 7.30 pm; the last act of the 2024 Tango Spa v11 traditional Argentine Tango weekend. In the glorious Royal Pump Rooms but with a more intimate & cosy atmosphere than the Grand Spa Ball. Corina Piatti will be live to sing and play for us as we dance, listen, or dream. International DJ and co-founder of Tango Warwick, Ricardo Peixoto will ensure we dance to the very last chord of the last tanda, dreams left aside for a while! ~~~~~~~~~~~~ CORINA PIATTI will be performing Argentinian Tango on voice and guitar on Sunday, twilight time. She reached first place at Show4Me Independent Music Awards 2022 Best Jazz and Blues Artist, and second place at Lukas Awards 2018 Best Latino Vocalist in the U.K Corina is the bohemian female voice and guitar of the Argentine Tango in the U.K. Since 2010 she has been performing at milongas, festivals, and tango shows around the country as well as continuing visiting and performing in Argentina, where she has shared stage with big tango stars, like Bandoneonist Rodolfo "Cholo" Montironi. With base in London, Corina regularly performs solo and with more musicians, like the Passion Tanguero group "Tango 44" and "Los Mareados". Also a songwriter of tango and other music styles, with an EP called Calma. On Sunday Twilight Tango is preceded by 3 and 1/2 hours of dancing in the delightful Conservatory of the Royal Pump Rooms, DJ Juan de Scarfo. The Grand Spa Ball is on Saturday night 8pm to 1 am with performance by Ricardo & Jenny Oria, and guest DJ Solveig Jansen from Bergen; with 4 hours dancing in The Conservatory with DJ Andy Adamson from 2pm to 6 pm. On Friday 7.40pm to 11.30pm Ricardo Oria is DJ for the welcome Milonga in the lovely Warwick Court House Ballroom. Discounted passes are still available, but must be booked in advance.
