From March 29 to April 8, 2025, Rosa Tango Club will celebrate its 15th anniversary. In addition to inviting two pairs of world-renowned top tango masters, Jonathan Spitel and Betsabet Flores, Dante Snchez and Roxana Surez, we also invited a number of famous Asian dancers and DJs. They will add color and brilliance to our dancers' gathering! Gen Lily , the founders of Los Sueos, have been dancing tango together for 13 years. They are the representatives of the Singapore tango community and the most influential teachers in the area. They won the Asian Tango Championships in 2018, the Malaysian Tango Championships in 2019, and the Pacific Championships in Korea in 2022. They have also been finalists in the World Tango Championships in Buenos Aires for five consecutive years. They currently teach tango at their own studio in Singapore and organize weekly milongas. They also organize one of the largest tango festivals in Asia, the Singapore International Tango Festival (SITF), which is held every year in the first week of October. In addition to teaching tango, they have been invited to teach and perform at many festivals and events around the world, and have performed in many famous tango clubs in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Gen Lily, founders of Los Sueos has been dancing Tango together for the last 13 years. They are the icons to the Tango scenes in Singapore and the most established local teachers in town. They won the Asian Tango championship in 2018, Malaysia Tango Championship 2019 and Pacific Championship in korea 2022. They were also finalist in the World Tango championship past 5 years in Buenos Aires. They are currently teaching and organize weekly Milongas in their own studio in Singapore. Federico Kim and Selene Son are skilled traditional tango dancers and well-known tango organizers and teachers in Korea. They entered the finals of the Tango World Championships in 2011. They have performed in international tango events held in Sunderland, Canning, Fulgor and La Baldosa in Busan , as well as in Seoul , Suncheon, Taipei , Sydney , Salta, Valladolid, Osaka, Vladivostok and Istanbul . Federico and Selene founded the Busan Corteo Tango Academy in 2014 and have been teaching tango ever since. They have represented Asia and China twice at the 2011 World Championships in Buenos Aires, where they were among the top 4 in the semi-finals, and have twice been among the top 30 finalists among more than 400 professional couples from around the world. Raymond and Lily have been dancing Argentine tango since 2003, learning from many well-respected tango masters in Buenos Aires. In 2006, they began teaching tango and founded their own dance company, OtroTango. Their teaching shows a deep understanding of tango culture and technique, with an eye for detail, precision and quality of movement. They have trained many outstanding dancers in Hong Kong, and their students took the top three places in the 2018 China Championship. They have also been invited to teach and perform in Bali, Beijing, Brunei, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney, Taipei and Tokyo. They have also been invited to perform at famous dances in Buenos Aires, the mecca of tango, such as Salon Canning and La Baldosa. In 2013, they held the first Tango Salon Championship in Hong Kong. Raymond Chu and Lily Cheng are professional tango dancers and teachers. They have won the Asian Championship (salon tango category) in Japan in 2011, and also the Salon Tango and Vals categories in the Championship in China in 2014. They have represented Asia and China twice in the World Championship 2011 in Buenos Aires, and have ranked top four in the semi-final, twice as top 30 finalists from over 400 professional couples from all over the world. Raymond and Lily have been dancing the Argentine tango since 2003, learning from well-respected tango masters in Buenos Aires. In 2006 they started teaching, and founded their own dance company, OtroTango. Their teaching shows a deep understanding of authentic tango in terms of culture as well as technique, with a focus on detail, precision and quality of movement. They have trained many good dancers in Hong Kong, and their students have won all the top three places in China Championship 2018.
