A long weekend in spring, where you are immersed in tango and nature. Eugenia Parrilla and Yanick Wyler - a great discovery for TiT in 2024!!! Passionate Tango Dancers, over the past 20 years, they studied many dance techniques, and have built a profound understanding of the body. In their dancing, they use and mix different dance styles, while remaining true to Tango, and this is just what makes it so attractive for Totally in Tango. This weekend will be dedicated to dancing on non tango music, and to explore the similarities and differences as to 'regular' tango. They will inspire, train, and coach us intensively. The Program Thursday, May 01 As of 10:00 arrival on site. First class after lunch, at 14.00. First evening milonga after dinner Friday till Sunday, May 02 - 04 4 hours of workshops per day by the teachers, practice time under guidance of the teachers, and evening milonga. An intense time to further develop both your Tango dance roles. The group will be around 30 participants for the whole weekend. We keep the group small on purpose, to dive deep into the classes, practice what we learned, and meet with the other participants. A moment to connect with yourself, the teachers, the dancers. Small and intimate is the theme for this gathering. The topic for the weekend is the Giro as a creative element considering its many variations in style, rhythms, rupture of the code as well as the embrace in order to add new possibilities to our turns. We will also interject barridas entradas, or the occasional colgada. Pricing Registration We welcome all dancers that enjoy double-role dancing. No need to register with a partner. We all dance with each other. Is your friend/partner (still) a single-role dancer? You are both welcome. Your participation fee is 280 euros. Accommodation is not included. Your participation will only be confirmed by us after the reception of your participation fee. Drinks and small snacks throughout the event are included. More Info below.
