OPEN EVERY MONDAY (except on Public Holidays we are closed) * NEWLY ADDED 30 MINUTE INTRODUCTION TO SALSA BASICS SESSION: - A new 30 minute session for new absolute beginners have been included into the Beginner Salsa program. * All absolute beginners must first attend this 7.30PM Introduction session. This will prepare you for the 8PM main Beginner class. * Total Cuban Salsa Beginner class time: 1 hour & 30 minutes 2025 MONDAY - POINT COOK CUBAN SALSA & BACHATA PROGRAM: 6.30PM BACHATA (Main class) * Absolute Beginner to Improver level * No dance experience or partner required - All welcome 7.30PM - BEGINNER CUBAN SALSA - INTRODUCTION TO SALSA BASICS - 1st Session - Here the main basics are broken down slowly step by step - Beginners of all levels should attend this class (* All New absolute beginners must attend this session before starting the main 8PM session) 8.00PM - 9.00PM CUBAN SALSA BEGINNER - 2nd Session (Main class) * At this stage - we expect all students to know their basics * Absolute beginners must do the 7.30PM class first. - This will prepare you for this 8.00PM main class session. * Total Beginner Salsa class time: 1 hour & 30 minutes 9.00PM - 10.00PM CUBAN SALSA INTERMEDIATE (Main class) * Beginners who are confident with their steps and turns can do this class. (Cuban Salsa/Rueda De Casino) * Please arrive 10 minutes earlier for registration. * No booking or registration required but if you know you are attending - please RSVP via Meetup or leave a message to let me know as it helps to balance ratio of men to ladies on the night. BOTTLED WATER & HAND TOWEL: * We recommend students bring a bottle of water and a hand towel as some nights are quite hot and some lessons can be abit of a workout! ((-: CENTRE PROTOCOLS: * Masks are recommended * If feeling unwell or have any flu like symptoms, please do not attend any classes * If you are a close contact, as a precautionary measure, we ask you not to attend any classes until after 7 days of negative results * If you have just returned from Overseas or Interstate, as a precautionary measure, we ask you not to attend any classes until after 7 days * We recommend sanitizing hands frequently What To Wear: * Best shoes - low or flat shoes with smooth sole shoes, such as leather sole shoes. * Avoid runners or sneakers as these are made to grip the floor and can impede your movement and turns. * Clothing - comfortable, casual clothing is fine MEDICAL: Please consult your doctor before taking any salsa classes if you have breathing problems, heart conditions, knee, back or shoulder injuries or are taking prescribed medication that may effect your health PRIVATE LESSONS: We offer private lessons on a one-to-one basis at a studio setup in Werribee. Available for one to one or with your dance partner or for small private groups at a time that suits you. Large private groups, we can come to you or your event. Private salsa lessons are a great way to fast track and accelerate your salsa dancing skills by covering your salsa dancing in more detail with individual attention. More Info below.
