Lettersong Calligraphy Studio/Gallery

Calligraphy Studio/Gallery 1501 Story Ave. Workshops in lettering, bookmaking, painting techniques. Gallery space with current calligraphy exhibits, yoga classes and house concert style music venue. Right on the Fat Friday Trolley Hop. A place to experience the love of letters and song. Central to Lettersong Gallery, is the notion of combining the visual and the audio sensory experience. My intent is to render calligraphically of sculpturally or both the original lyrics of local musician, and present them in book or under glass form in an exhibit in our gallery. THEN the writers and songsters would perform them at an opening. I want to bring the love of letters and the study of ancient scripts to the public. I want to bring inspired local original music to blend written and sung words and enjoy performance art in our gallery. Instruction in both, music and calligraphy will be available.
