Concert, event, and live music venue with two performances spaces, bar and catering kitchen. This is how I do business ... Concerts ... I support live music, sometimes local, sometimes national, sometimes international ... but always, the best that I can find and afford. I hire artists, so that means they are paid. I never ask an artist to play for free or for tips/alcohol/meals. I sell tickets (from $10 to $50) to concerts on behalf of the artists and pay them a guarantee or a respectable fixed % of advance ticket/door sales. I pay licensing fees to ASCAP, BMI, SESAC and CCLI. I have a full bar from which I pay a small bar staff and all other expenses (there are plenty). My kids work for us sometimes too; they get paid. And if there is ever anything left over, then I pay us. Private Events ... I rent the venue for private, corporate, and nonprofit events as well. The space is limited; 170 seats max in Skylight Ballroom and 60 seats max in Sparrow Library. The fees are competitive and I'm continually developing a fair pricing structure. We have no partners. We are a for profit business. We are an honest, hard-working family. We are not rich, but we are capitalists. And we are perfectly imperfect.
