Crawford Irish Dance

The Crawford School of Irish Dance is a certified school which means that the director had to take and pass an exam given by the Irish Commission. By being certified this school teaches traditional Irish dance in which the dancers are able to compete in competitions held not only in Utah, but also throughout the country. The dancer has a choice to compete; however, they do not have to compete if they do not want to. Many organizations can offer Irish dance classes, but none of them have the expertise to teach students anything but the very basics of Irish dance. Only certified schools have teachers who have spent many years of learning Irish dance, and thus, can teach all levels of this dance form.
