Powell Dance Academy

Powell Dance Academy, located in Northwest Columbus, offers an assorted curriculum of Tot, Predance, Ballet/Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Gymnastics, and adult classes. We maintain a family-friendly studio with age-appropriate music, choreography and costumes, while still giving dancers & instructors the freedom to be expressive, current and stylish. Whether dancing competitively or for fun, we believe that learning dance in a healthy, creative environment expands imaginations, builds self-esteem, promotes self-discipline, and establishes a sense of teamwork and cooperation. Located just off North Liberty Street & Seldom Seen Road, the PDA facility boasts 3 fully equipped dance studios with full length mirrors and sprung floors to prevent fatigue & injury. Studio rooms for our younger dancers have one-way viewing windows so you can watch your child without disrupting class. There is also a family area with DVD player and vending machine, a large dressing room and homework area, and plenty of parking.
