Nicolas de Souza Barros History of Lundum The interconnectedness of Lusophone countries dates back to the Atlantic Slave Trade, between Portugal, Brazil and regions of Africa In the 15th century, the Portuguese were the primary exporters of African slaves to the Americas, and with slaves came their musical traditions. Throughout the 17th and 18th centuries, there was a massive Brazilian presence in Angola, enabling a cultural exchange between the two Portuguese colonies. This exchange enabled subtle amalgamations of musical styles between Angola, Brazil and other African slave trade countries. The establishment of a creole population in Brazil led to further cultural developments in language, religion and art. Read more and score http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lundu_(dance) HELLO! If you like my videos and would like to help me somehow please read! Recently my positive organ had to suffer some upgrades and the wind blower does not work anymore for it. Unfortunately my instrument is dead until i have a new blower but it is very expensive, not manufactured in Brazil and worst, even more inaccessible now because of Brazil economic situation and high currency devaluation. ANY help is welcome if you could! I´ve started a crowdfunding Paypal direct link donation: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_donations&business=FWB3F6DTQ7MPS&item_name=Organ+Blower+Help&currency_code=USD&source=url or [email protected] (account info) If you want to listen to it, check this video https://youtu.be/N9A_MgbdPSI Thank you very much for your help and kindness! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
