Tippani | Folk Dance of Gujarat

Tippani dance is a traditional folk dance of the West Indian state of Gujarat. This dance originated in the Chorwad district of Gujarat. As the women worked to level the roads, they would sing to the beat of the tapping just to break the monotony of the work and this culminated and inspired this folk dance.
